We are accepting applications for engineers at all levels from new college grads to senior engineers.
This position is for a verification engineer in AMD's graphics group working on next generation graphics architectures. Our focus is on verification of the high performance shader complex that supports advanced graphics rendering and highly parallelized scientific computing.
Responsibilities include test planning, test writing, debug, testbench design, specification review, and working with designers to ensure performance and functional goals are met. Candidates with strong critical reasoning skills and an interest in applying the latest verification technologies to large scale designs are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. M.S. preferred.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture principles, including pipelines and caches.
• Familiar with Linux operating system, including debug tools.
Experience Preferences:
• Experience with perl and other scripting languages preferred.
• SystemVerilog experience a plus.
• Graphics knowledge a plus.
• Experience with Synopsys and Cadence tools a plus.
• Prior experience in hardware verification a plus.
