Progressive’s Commercial Auto division is seeking a highly motivated product marketing analyst to lead analytical efforts for growth and profitability of states in the Commercial Auto product line. This position is an exciting opportunity that integrates all aspects of marketing – product, price, place (distribution) and promotion. This is a great chance to apply your analytical savvy in a creative and dynamic environment for a fortune 500 company.

A well-qualified candidate is:
*Intellectually curious.
*Analytical and likes to work with data; has the ability to look at different data elements and formulate a business case
*Able to make sound assumptions and comfortable working in situations where data is incomplete or incoherent.
*Mathematically proficient.
*An effective communicator both in writing and verbally.
*Experienced in Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint.
*SAS, VBA or other procedural programming languages a plus.

Required:
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related emphasis. Master's degree preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include leading analytical efforts on pricing, product model upgrades, distribution/sales optimization, competitive analysis, market sizing and continuous monitoring of state growth/profitability results. To accomplish this work, the product marketing analyst will work cross functionally with other groups in the company including R&D, IT, Communications, Control, Sales, Operations and Legal. Thus, excellent communication skills are key.
